"I took Rope Access 1, I had a background in Event /Arena Rigging prior to arrival. Friendly and comfortable space, the instructors are well rounded, experienced, and great at teaching from various perspectives... They are attentive and relaxed, while being very informative.

The meals were catered, water and coffee is provided onsite -- bring a refillable waterbottle. They ask about dietary restrictions upon signups, and actually pay attention to the answers they receive. I am medically pescetarean and had a full and hearty meal every day.

Color me impressed, confident, comfortable, and well trained. They go over plenty of devices, materials, maneuvers, what ifs, how comes, why fors, and more. All Hands-on Experience, with the occasional "classroom" discussion... So be ready to physically exert yourself for 5 days!

You will have the opportunity to meet or be trained by Mark Hanna (owner), or a small handful of select experts in the field, such as John or Tony.

*edit: I didn't pass, though I left with a LOT of knowledge... John offered me to visit again for a retest, which was easy to schedule and even more fun to revisit! More experience for me!! 3/22 I passed my Retest with ease!

Well worth my time, money, and the experience earned. I'm so glad Heights Above exists in the PNW."
